About Menopang - Sustainable Schools and Renewable Education

Sustaining for future generations

 Our Mission

Construct a school on an island that has a miniture farm as well as being fully sustainable using renewable energy such as solar power and hydroelectricity.

Electricity

We wanted our to school to be sustainable  because of  Bali carbon footprint the health risk that non-renewable electricity can cause to the environment as well as the people the cleaner the electricity the cleaner the environment is taking that into consideration we decided to use solar and hydro electricity because Bali has two seasons, dry and wet seasons. This means that during the wet season when the rivers are faster and fuller the river turbines are able to perform at its peak capacity and during the dry season when the rivers are dry the solar panels are able to work more efficiently than the river turbines.

Farm

Our farm area provides space for growing crops and possibly selling leftover produce. This supports food production and practical learning for students, especially in agriculture and sustainability.

Additionally, the land is located near a river, which can support water supply and possibly renewable energy like a small turbine, increasing the school’s self-sufficiency.
